I'm stuck in bronze and keep losing ranked games

Currently I've been playing a lot of ranked recently after taking a short break where I left off at bronze 2 60 lp but after playing a few games, I've lost EVERY SINGLE ONE. It's been hell for me and all I want to do is climb. I'm at bronze 2 0 lp now and honestly don't know if I should hop into another game or not?

I'm a support main and try to play champions I'm good at, which I can completely dominate everybody in a normal game. But In ranked it's like i have never played that champion. I started playing a lot of Leona recently and have blamed my adc ALOT for not following up with my ingages and letting me die. And I'm tilting myself so much. Being a support main, it's hard to control what my other lanes are doing and since I'm quite an aggressive support, my adc never follows up because our lane is always behind. I try my best every game and never forget to ward. My teammates always blame me when we get aced since I'm always the one Ingaging. I don't know where I go wrong with these games? Early game i do pretty okay since I have a lot of lane control but mid game I fall off to ganks or just me being in the wrong position at the wrong time.

At this point I don't think I'll ever get out of bronze. Kms.

hint. as leona use w before hand to hint at your adc when to engage. also a ping helps. ping who you are targetting then wait about a full second then jump on them.

just play brand/zyra, build AP and you'll get out of bronze i promise

I like using Gragas Support personally.. does everything a support does, has damage reduction, healing on passive, Plenty of Aoe, Good roaming, good lane phase.. i mean what more do u want?=]

Honestly, you're trying to squeeze blood from a turnip. You can't expect Bronze players to do the things you need them to do. That's why hard engage Supports don't often work in lower elos. Stick with safer options. Zyra, Brand, Morgana, hell even champs like Galio and Soraka. The less weight you need to put on your teammates, the better off you be until you get out of Bronze.

Leona advice: Stop maxing W first. Q, E, W, E, E, R. Then max q/e. At three ranks into E, it's cooldown is the same as rank 1 Q, which maximizes your engage potential, or even let's you E/Q out of dives if things go sour.

I would also change your buildpath. First off, Locket isn't a good rush item anymore after the change. Go with item 3050 or item 3109 on tanks now. Locket is better as a 4th or 5th item now, unless another tank on the team buys it first. Mobi boots are also not great on her right now. I suggest one of these instead item 3047 item 3111 item 3158

item 2303 item 3158 item 3109 item 3050 gives you max CDR, as well as Knight's Vow offering good protection for your bound partner and sustain for yourself. ADC's have a LOT of GOOD items that grant them good defense for themselves, so I'm not convinced that going for the full Face of the Mountain over the Eyestone is worthwhile compared to getting Vow/Zeke's quicker.

Build and become more of a diver and less of a guardian.

You are at the point where you can pretty much do what ever you like in a Bronze game and win with it.

The problem that usually crops up with supports is that they tend to have a rough time keeping up in the late games.

If you don't want to be called a troll and pick a character that can fill a secondary role other than support. You can take some time to leave your team to dry while you farm like a mad man to build a Bruiser Leona.

Everything that Leona does hurts. On top of that, like poppy, she's incredibly hard to kill.

If your ADC is not quick on the up-take. Don't be afraid to roam. Your ADC is already behind, and there is no reason that you should be behind. Go help mid if they are pushed into their own tower and help Mid Secure a kill and push into the opposing tower.

Occasionally rotate back down to ADC.

Your ADC will call you trash. They will scream at you. Call you a troll. Useless, a Bronze scrub. Or even report you. But you are trying to win a game. Not baby sit someone.

The other thing is. The enemy loosing Mid Tower is far more critical than you loosing bottom tower. Mid is the shortest lane in the entire game. And running it down mid is the quickest way to win. If your enemy understands that, more than likely they will all funnel down mid thinking of an incoming team fight. Or they think that they can get an easy kill. This will take pressure off of bottom lane and let the ADC catch up.

Just make sure that your team understands that they are to -STAY- in their lanes and knock on the towers. That's called map preassure, and in early ELOs people don't deal with it. They are more concerned with kills, instead of objectives.

If they kill you, oh well. You're only worth a minion wave and a half or so. They just wasted a lot of time, and probably took a lot of damage on Top and Bottom towers as well as potentially loosing mid.

It's a problem if they killed your entire team, or one person was slain in multiples of five.

Lastly... here's an inspirational song based on a historical event to hopefully help you not give up.

I usually play this song after I die, and a surrender vote is called. 90% of the time we turn the fight around and win.

One final thing. While it is your job to minimize an ADC's mistakes and keep them alive. If there's nothing you can do for them without getting yourself killed, let them die. A lot of ADCs do not understand that what the support says goes. You are their master, not the other way around.

It took me a while to get out of the habit that I must keep my ADC alive, but after getting nothing but an earful of shit from people with high egos. I just started letting them learn.

Leona can body block skill shots. And probably tease people into shooting her. But she has no forms of escape. If your support is too far away from you, and is horribly out of position. Let him die. There's absolutely nothing you can do for him, and he needs to learn from that mistake.

Soraka can heal. But her heals trade her HP to fill theirs. On top of that, many people uses that as a crutch to just dive back in and get killed. Only to scream about -no heals-. And trust me. The enemy -wants- you to spam your heal. Because Soraka has no escapes. The longer it goes on, the easier it is for them to get a double.

Poppy works as support. And she can peel quite well for your ADC. But your ADC needs to understand that they need to HELP HER instead of run.

Singed works as support as well. But until his buffs he won't be relevant late game. He can keep people from chasing your ADC back to midlane. And can force people into poor positioning. His self healing is also insane with an inventory of dark seals.
