My two cents on fixing smite in lane

Riot should limit the number of smites allowed on a team too 1. This would fix the issues created by bring smite into lane. It can create some trolling opportunities ill admit but I'd rather see some trolling then riot nerfing an item that just came out because a champion like can abuse it. You could still technically take smite into lane if you take away your smite on jungle, but not many junglers can live without it. And you'd open your jungle up to huge risks early game to take that smite into lane.

Don't be a baby. There's tons of ways for people to troll, and they don't include smite. Fix THAT, then we'll talk about smiters. Gnar

I honestly love the idea of a 5-smite team. The jungle items are strong, and the Smite actives is basically the most accessible and flexible Summoner's Spell out there. I'm legit just waiting for a Warrior Enchant buff/rework so an ADC can actually take Smite without losing too much power.

Or we could actually allow laners to take smite? I see no problem with it. Stop giving rito MORE ways to kill diversity.
