As we all know, In the majority of online games this has become a big problem. But oddly in League of Legends it never really was considered one, Till here lately. I mean it's getting out of hand and there isn't even a reportable option that classifies their offense. This method of abusing the time it takes to level up and get champions is killing the strategy and game-play that we all enjoy. I'm new to the forums a little bit but so far, I have not seen any thread tagged by a Developer about this issue. Especially in game-modes like Ascension/Aram/Dominion/ and Twisted Treeline. It's become a major burden.

Me personally, I only enjoy Aram/3vs3. And since this has became a problem, I can not fully enjoy the experience/environment your developers and designers work so hard to create.

If a Link could be posted to an official thread regarding this issue, It would be much obliged. Or a response from a member of the staff.

so they're selling them? wow that's cheap a/f.... Do your part and ruin these guys plans, report every bot you see and hear of! Ive already gotten a dozen bot accounts permabanned (it happens when you get into 4 consecutive lobbies with them)

Have you ever played co-op vs AI on Dominion? Pretty much that entire queue is bots just getting to level 30 so their owners can sell them.

Don't think Ascension was around long enough for bots to get in (2 weeks). Believe I have seen them on SR/Dom/ARAM/TT though. It can be ridiculous when you are on a team with 2 or more bots. Your chances of winning go right out the window. 1 bot on your team can be bad, too. However, if everyone works together, then that can be overcome most of the time.
