Shaco boxes do not damage the plants Zyra puts out i think this is a bug and has been happening for multiple seasons now any word on a fix? Zyra plants however damage shaco boxes.

It's a coding quirk that Riot doesn't give a shit about. Shaco boxes don't apply on-hits or spell effects, so they fall outside the criteria used by Zyra plants' hp system to determine the damage value. Sivir's W also falls into this category and does not damage plants.

There are so many awful consequences of how plant damage and hp are coded, most of which heavily disadvantage Zyra. For example, Rumble's flamespitter is coded as a DOT while Corki's gatling gun is coded as just AOE. It takes Rumble 8 ticks (or 2 seconds) to kill plants, but it only takes Corki 2 ticks (or .5 seconds) to kill plants. Why? Because literally no fucking reason, that's why.

Plants 1-shot themselves on Rammus armor and are dodged by Jax's counterstrike despite being spell damage and not basic attacks. Love Tap 1-shots plants with a ranged attack, but Clockwork Windup doesn't, despite both being 2 damage packets, on-hit effects, and passives. Why? Literally no fucking reason.

I wouldn't be surprised if Shaco's boxes had more interactions that are hidden from players, exist for no rational reason, and disadvantage him in certain instances.

Thanks i appreciate it, i have been seeing it for seasons at this point so just wanted to make Riot aware and although they dont really listen or care about the players opinions id say this is not good for the game.

I have noticed this as well and i think it should be changed hopefully since i just looked in the history of Shaco and Zyra interactions it pops up a few times but knowing riot they dont care LOL.

YEAAAAH riot just doesnt give a shit i mean look at their board everyone hates their ranked system and they refuse to acknowledge them so GG shaco they probably either wont make any changes or they will in like 2 seasons Shaco
