I have been playing league for 4 years. It is just such a habit to tab out in champ select to do work, watch youtube, etc. And the client is supposed to pop up when it's my turn to pick/ban. Now I just dodged twice in my promos to plat 5, because of this bullshit. This is why every game there are like 6 dodgeds. GG riot.
Lindts6 votesNo offense to your bad attitude, but it's not like Riot didn't give everyone a notice (WHERE YOU CLEARLY PRESSED "Do not remind me again") that if you don't lock in or press ban, it counts as a dodge. You are SUPPOSED to pay attention to create a team comp (why teambuilder was removed: captains accepted champions just due to long queue times).
You, as part of the queue team, are supposed to be there for the entire process to create a team comp that you and everyone else in your team will deem good to go for a successful win.
If you fail to do that, then you shouldn't join the queue. When systems change and most people like it, you either get with the program, or you don't. It's that simple.

You are expected to be there, perspiration dripping down your forehead, to form the best possible combination of champions in order to triumph over your opponents. How dare I forget that......

Lindts2 votesOkay well you can make an effort to recognize the fact that, yeah, Riot changed a system that has been in place for years. Ergo, habits have to change. Don't go into ranked if you feel like you can't because it ruins your series.
Also, I only explained what Riot had in mind as to why Dynamic Queue was made and Teambuilder was removed. You don't have to sit around the whole time and discuss a good team comp. That's Riot's intention that everyone be included in the process of picking and banning. If you can't adjust to it, put off ranked for a while. If you truly belong in plat, as Riot believes, you'll be able to climb back up later.

Hen Shuai1 votesIt is just muscle memory. Especially because we are notified when a match has been found, and the fact that I probably have to play an extra 7 games or so to win a series I was bound to win.
