Ward jumping

Just a question, why can't jump to wards like or can? I'm not complaining, but I think the utility it would give would be awesome for him. can hook minions or champions and fly in, can hook them, etc. Why shouldn't be able to ward jump? Thoughts?

It's supposed to be used on ally CHAMPIONS. There's a red post somewhere that talks about it.
