Ultimate timer ?

Hello everyone ! Today I post this because I have an idea and I think lot of people has already think about this.

You know the green circle ? I'm sure you know it, it shows if a play has is ultimate. And we can't see if a person will have is ulti in 20 seconds or 200 seconds. So, why wouldn't Riot add a timer ? It might be different ways, as a timer or as a color circle. For the timer, it's a common timer but for the color circle, it would be different. a red circle if the R isn't ready for more than 1 minute, a orange circle if it will be ready in less than 1 minute and a green circle if the ulti is ready !

I know than there is Corki or LeBlanc or Kassadin ... but in this case, the circle could be only red or green ;-)

I have a screen for example ;-) I hope you'll like this idea Heimerdinger

What about making it fill like a clock yellow, and then turn green when its ready?

You mean something like that? (On Ezreal) The circle is too small so maybe somebody will think than an other person have his ulti but no, in a few seconds. That's why I thought of colors

Somebody else posted a similar suggestion a while back, where the green circle fills in like a clock.

A Rioter responded that they'd take the suggestion to the team.

I think it's a great idea.

I can see it now... the rage in the game will increase to an even larger level... WW, your ult is up in 15 seconds, how dare you clear that jungle camp when you should be in my lane in 14.9 seconds.

that would be sound logic.

Not like that is a bad thing. A warwick ought to gank every time his ult is up early game.

They just need to take the ult and summoner spell coooldowns from the spectator view, and add them to your team hud.

So in other words you want to make it so you won't ever die and players won't get there ults off because people can see. The day they make it were you know always when some ones ult is down or up is the day you see players not even use the ults. I mean think about no point on doing the team fights. every can see every ones ult timers. Fights would come to a hult. Why should the tank going in when they see his ult is up or down? Get the picture?

... They wouldn't be cross team...

it would be similar to the ult icon in the game for teammates - but instead of "ready-not ready" it would have an approximate countdown.

I don't really like the aesthetic of it. How about if instead when you hover over the blank circle indicating their ult is not up, a small information tab pops up when you hove over it, giving a timer -- similar to how when you hover over items or monster objective and you get a text box, of course it would be a lot small for this situation.
