im jungle main,

i usually play Rengar but occasionally I'll play a tank like Zac or Mundo.

Resolve tree is a joke; even on tanks, precision / inspiration / sorcery all feel better than shit fucking resolve tree. Oh yea i have to wait for 10 minutes to get resists while LeeSin etc. fulls clears and comes out at full HP 100% HP ready to gank.

you're just encouraging everyone to play pure damage champs at this point; and i mean that directed at jungle role. Anything tank related (besides the obviously overpowered Sejuani Maokai ) is complete shit because of clear speed and lack of early game defenses while everyone else has quite high damage. Even bruisers like Vi MonkeyKing fare far better on an assassin build that includes item 3134 item 3147 item 3142

I'll still pretty much only play rengar, but I don't think i'll ever be tempted to play a tank jungle given the shit masteries you offer them.

There's a lot of exploration going on to make the resolve tree feel like it's got a lot more contextual/interesting choices that you can make. It can be pretty tricky balancing defensive runes lest they become "must haves" on everyone, but there's some pretty fun stuff we're playing around with atm. Currently they definitely don't feel particularly exciting when compared to runes in the other trees - we're on it!

Resolve tree is actually pretty good. Minor rune wise, it's on par with precision and sorcery because of how much flexibility you have, so it's not like those are worse than the others

The keystones are relatively lackluster for solo laners right now (except aftershock), but Aftershock is probably gonna be abused next patch and RIot has been working on a 4th keystone for sometime now.

So what are the bad runes in resolve? I legit don't see any.

Tanks take sorcery to abuse it, but it doesn't make them tankier. Generally, for the ones that take sorc, it allows them to cheese through lanes through spamming.

Resolve promotes more commitment to fights; that's the complete opposite of the current general meta tank playstyle of whittling away at the opponent. Jg tanks take resolve and are supposed to naturally have weaker early clears.

Tank junglers aren't really bad, they're just bland and linear, but that has been a problem that's persisted long before runes were introduced.

Resolve isn't bad, though.

Amm after shock is one of the best keystones for those who can utilize it. Besides that all the choices are solid picks none of them seem weak, i like them.

The only gripe i have is the line where you chooese 5 MR/armor or 8 MR+Armor after 10 minutes.. those are kinda crappy.

I have three things to say that will contradict your entire point.

  1. AfterShock
  2. Demolish 3.Overgrowth

and then you realize that some of the tank junglers are one of the most broken champions currently... but that's ok

I just don't understand why Grasp of the Undying has a higher damage ratio than it's healing ratio. I thought it's supposed to be a defensive rune, not a damage steroid for tanks.

Aftershock and Demolish are decent I find, especially on tanks, while all the others are sub-par. If you're not playing a melee that can effectively make use of Aftershock, the other trees would net better results.
