MY GUY, HELP ME GET BETTER!!!

Hey this is my first time posting on the boards, my name is TopMiata in NA and I've been trying to play in the mid lane lately. Most games I seem to be able to get ahead as Talon Talon but I can never transfer my advantage into the later mid, and late game. I decided to post this to see if anyone wants to help me become a better player. Last season I was silver but this season has been difficult for me. It would mean a lot if I could bounce some questions off you or pick your brain on some key topics. My usual core build is item 3142 item 3071 item 3147 item 3812 with summoner 14 summoner 4 and toggling item 3814 item 3139 or even item 3156 (even though it puts me over my cooldown cap) when facing Veigar Veigar, Syndra Syndra, or Orianna Orianna with the rotation of boots according to which enemies seem to be carrying. Also it would be great to be able to lane against you in a custom where you can coach me through, or even look at game clips and try to analyze how, when and where to go in. Maybe help me with my bans an figuring out good matchups. I know this is asking a lot but I figured I'd reach out to the community because you guys have always been great and supper supportive.

with a pick like talon winning lane is great, but what wins games w/ him is roaming w/ your E and snowballing your other lanes, basically if you can get a kill on the enemy mid great, use your advantage to push in waves, at level 9 your W should be able to kill the caster minions in 1 W, push wave roam bot/top whichever enemy laner is more pushed into your side of the map.

Good map awareness is clutch on talon, example seeing your Jg and the enemy jg contesting scuttle hop over and potentially get a kill.

Edit: as for build, each game pick either Deaths dance or Maw depending on the enemy team comp, if enemy has more than 1 major magic damage source maw is probably the better choice, but if they are more AD heavy deaths dance will help more, getting to max CDR is very beneficial for talon, as at 40% cdr rank 3 your ult is ~ a 36 sec cooldown which is huge kill pressure anytime its up, but going over that is unnecesary and you will get more utility from Duskblade Merc scimitar or edge of night, and I like to finish the build off w/ the new GA because it synergizes so well with talon with the extra AD armor and extra life.
