Can someone explain the point in finishing the jungle item on pretty much anyone?
The jungle items all give bad stats
It's not efficient to sell it at the end of the game and you might as well just skip it and get your core items

You do need the Jungler passive to jungle effectively. Though I could argue that finishing the enchantment can wait, since the enchantments arn't as gold efficient anymore.
For example, if your playing a Bruiser, you might want to get Cinderhulk because you are going to be stacking a lot of Health. But the %HP effect would make it a better purchase later in the game. Instead, you might pick up items that help your clear speed. (In the pro scene, Rek'sai would often buy a Tiamat first, and Hercarim would rush a tri force, all before completing their Cinderhulk.
Though in contrast, Runic Echo is pretty much going to be your best Camp clear option for AP. (Especially if they are mana hungry.)
catastrophicSkil1 votesgoing a second item before finishing jungle item is extremely inefficient and if you fall behind you will be useless on some champs the only reason it happens in pro games is because they generally the games are not as big of blood baths as solo Q but i'm sure i ngames where rek sai goes for tiamat before jungle item if he falls behind it becomes very punishing
