I was trying to make a last push into gold from silver but its just not worth the effort. with match after match of me getting fed top lane and having it not matter if the bot lane gets even a little ahead i lose unless i can 1v5 the entire enemy team This lose bot lose game shit is so frustrating

I suggest you play jungle or mid lane
It's hard to carry silver and bronze games but if you just stomp your lane, you can carry.
If you are playing jungler, just pick something that games nicely and scales good. People think zac sucks but he is really good at ganks. He also scales pretty nicely.
Also, never try to play ranked with one month left. Too many fake try hard and trolls

I don't think it is the ADC metta so much as the ELO HELL that is Silver.
If you constantly out perform your opponent and win your matchup, but derank, it is very frustrating.
Yes, you can try some hyper-carry strategy with a broken champ to try and carry teammates that are liabilities, but the frustration is players shouldn't have to. The matchmaking should not stick you with players that are so absurdly out-classed. Statistically, if I start 70% of my games 3-0 with the first turret, I should expect to win and rank up (in a well-made ranking system). Yet the exact opposite is the case. The liabilities you get assigned to your team in Silver... it just leaves you scratching your head why they are even in ranked.
Its as if Riot is telling me: "Not only do you need to spank someone ranked higher than you 1v1, and be the sole focus of the enemy jungler, and gank bottom to help them hold lane.... but you ALSO need to serve as a coach, teacher, therapist, and baby sitter for your team of raging toxic liabilities. And EVEN THEN, you are still going to derank"

Weird, as a support I've often had the opposite experience: the top feeding to make a split that can't be answered, mid feeding a Zed who winds up 100-0 my ADC before I can get my peel off, feeding yi etc.
No matter how consistently I can get my ADC ahead of the enemy's ADC, it matters not if the front line that is supposed to keep him safe is tissue paper.
Moral of the story, you are only as strong as the collective strength of the chain.
The frustrating part about bronze and silver that higher-ranked players don't realize, is that kids in these ELOs don't know how to lose their lane.
I mean, they should, but they don't. Smart players can start 0-1 or 0-2 and farm safely so their other lanes have a chance. But in Bronze and Silver when lanes lose, they feed hard. They tilt, they rage, they afk. When I first got out of Bronze I had hoped there would be this basic knowledge, but honestly it seems even worse in Silver.
In my opinion, if you aren't a support and you are 0-8 or worse at 15 minutes, you need to be flagged and deranked... there are simply too many players in silver that should never have gotten out of Bronze V.

i think tbh 5 man rank teams are ideal atm, not enough reward for the risk solo-que rank anymore, imo. I have 4 friends who agree to do team rank once we all reach 30, that will be far better exp then what I've heard/seen in Solo-Rank
