As an assassin player I feel like it's not worth buying assassin items anymore

I mainly play assassin champions and recently I heard about champions doing so much dmg with only Tank items. i decided to try it out and guess what, It's all true. Why, should I build Assassin items which cost a lot more when I can just build Tank items and still do so much dmg. I think the problem lies with Grasp of the Undying. Here's an example of a match where I went Top Talon with these items. I even got a quadra lol. Although I couldn't one-shot anyone. Also, I wonder where that 4k magic dmg to champs came from as i've never seen it that high

More like most assassins have such high bases & scalings that runes are simply enough to deal immense damage (ekko, zed, leesin, ext). Meanwhile true tanks often get obliterated in a few seconds for building tanky, and because of how riot changed snowballing, won't be able to keep up; this double standard of design is disgusting.

Sunfire Cape deals magic damage, so if you have a bunch of enemies near you constantly (like Talon often does since he usually dives after the ADC in the middle of their team) its pretty easy to hit 4k total.

item 3068 does magic dmg

item 3068 + Grasp of the Undying both do magic damage.
