can you please fix ranked?

I just really think the whole ranked system need to be dealt with. Can you not do something about it? For instance my gold 1 friend had an unranked player in his game. I feel like in a lot of mine I get people just starting out and think they are decent enough to try ranked. Or there's the whole smurf issue mixed in with these new people. There are a lot of issues here that just make playing ranked solo/duo queue very difficult. Could you not try to fix it by maybe putting people in groups by when they started playing? I feel like that may fix a lot of the problem.
