Lissandra Counter Tips Please

I am not here to bitch about op lissandra is since i hate that. But as a mid lane main and top lane secondary I have trouble facing her. Some of this is due to my assassin heavy play style. While most of my mid champs are assassins I can play Azir, Viktor, and TF.

I was wondering if for if i do choose an assassin how can i counter her?
Also do any of the mages I do play counter her or draw even with her?
How do I play against her and what do I do?
Are they in general counter tips?

You gotta either force out her zhonyas/ulti and/or poke the crap out of her before going in. Lissandra is all about stalling out time for her teammates to do damage to you, so if you can make it so that she can't fill that role, she becomes a massive liability due to all her spells having incredibly short range.

As a master lissandra main I can give you these tips.

-She has issues against poke champions that can poke her out of lane to farm at a safe distance. (for example, Ziggs. Just dont get too close and remain distance)

-CC her when she throws out her claw (E) This will prevent her from blinking.

-Side step as much as you can while fighting at close range, her Q is somewhat hard to land on fast moving targets.

-Poke her down and dont go for close fights in her Q range, this is what she excels at in terms of fighting.

Azir and Viktor are both really good against Liss. Which assassins are you playing? She's only super brutal to Yasuo and Leblanc as far as assassins go. She can outplay Zed, but he's heavily favored simply because of his oppressive damage and longer range. Ahri is a skill matchup in Ahri's favor. Diana crushes her. Fizz can easily outplay her.

So yeah, who are you playing that she's giving you trouble 1v1?

Zed doesn't counter her... maybe a wash at best.

Poke champs seem to be best.
