What is Elo Hell

If you just completed your promotions when you are lvl 30, that is not elo hell. You will be getting even matches with new players.

Once you are lvl 100+ and got stuck in silver, then that is elo hell. Where you will be placed with levels similar to yours. But this people don't know how to improve their strategies at all. They WILL make the same mistakes then what a new player would make.

-No team plays -feeders -going into enemy jg without vision -blaming teamates -targeting the tank -thinking they are korean challengers

How can this be solved? If lol reset our level back to 30. Only if you finished in bronze or silver. Cause you'll just be stuck there.

Level means very little.

Elo hell is unranked. Ranked is for causal players. Just did non ranked for the first time in a long time and remembered why I switched to ranked.

Ranked is somewhat balanced.

Nonranked I was getting games with people ranging from Iron to Diamond in the same game, sometimes with the top 5 on one team and the bottom 5 on the other, and often close to this.

If this were true... why can people buy boosts? How would boosters ever do it?

This is just the mental gymnastics of "I can't climb because riots system is broken" with an extra step to accommodate an excuse for how smurfs do it.

I can guarantee 90% of the players I've played against on this account are not new, infact I've never seen any correlation between playing on a new account, and vsing new players. And I op.gg most of my games after the fact to get a clearer picture.

This accounts new, and yet the last adc I vs'd had a ranked history going back to s5, with 300 games played this season. His support went back to S4, and was level 148, not new. My support was level 65, on what as far as I could tell was his first season, and had 0 knowledge of the matchup. He kept hard engaging early vs velkoz lucian, which made my life hell. Still came out of that game 18/6/8 after a nightmare lane phase.

It is called ACTUALLY being the better player vs perceiving yourself as the better player. If you are consistently playing better than your counterparts in the games you que for, you will fking climb.

The only other new accounts I've been seeing in my games have been other smurfs. Because I do tend to see people with smurflike stats pop up more frequently on accounts when I have similar stats.

elo hell exists and its called diamond 5. everywhere below d5 is more or less balanced because in truth the skill difference between plat and bronze is less than the difference between d5 and challenger. something you have to consider is that most players are pretty bad at this game and that the only thing keeping you from solo carrying against these players are your own short comings. playtime is a poor estimation of skill, ive seen hard stuck silver players with over 500k mastery points on their main champ lose to lower ranked players first timing a champ on an off role. the only way to win games is to get better, and the only way to get better is to practice.
