Personally i dont think he is wrong

I main Annie and often taker her as support when i cannot get mid, let me tell you rushing damage over a sightstone is just better. I try to time my ADCs first back for their item 1038 to get a item 1058 at the same time and rush that into a item 3285 for maximum snowball effect and lane dominance.

However.

That is not to say i dont buy a sight stone. Actually i make the vision item my second priority item. By the time i get ludens the first tower be it mine or the enemies is going down or already gone. So only then when i have the oppertunitu to start roaming lanes or deep warding enemy jungle does a sight stone become importantt to me.
