@RIOT - Surrender feature and what constitutes a majority

For a very long time (possibly for the entire time of the game - haven't been here since it began), the surrender feature has required 4 people to surrender when 5 players are actively in the game. It would be interesting to know why Riot doesn't only require 3 (the majority number of players in the game). Also, it would be a nice feature change to have it made to 3 instead of 4 as too many people stall losing games with 2 No votes for a variety of reasons (including being toxic/trolling).

As an aside, when 4 players are in the game (1 AFK/Leaver), the game requires 3 players to surrender (for 3 players, it is a 2 yes vote requirement). Only with 5 people is the majority set to an odd place where it needs almost everyone to vote yes.

It's a super majority that's required (66%). It requires a super majority in every case.

With 2, both must vote yes (100% > 66%, 1 yes is 50% which is < 66%) With 3, 2 must vote yes (66% = 66%) With 4, 3 must vote yes (75% > 66%, 2 yes votes is 50% which is < 66%) With 5, 4 must vote yes (80% > 66%, 3 yes votes is 60% which is < 66%)

In the Hexakill special game mode, it STILL requires a super majority.

3 of 6 = 50% -- not enough 4 of 6 = 66% = 66%

5 is just an odd number. That's literally all you're bitching about. You're literally bitching at Riot to make 5 divisible by 3. Riot isn't God, they can't change how math works.

The amount of games I've won thanks to my ranked duo partner hitting no during the surrender option...

So many people posting about this topic at once, in so man different locations! It must be some sort of grassroots movement.

It's definitely NOT mmr boosters trying to grind through more games and getting sabotages by players with integrity, using the only weapon left to them, costing these scum bags money.
