FNC vs H2K literally showed how weak the turrets are
FNC winning the game by pushing from the 1st mid turret till the nexus clearly shows the turret is useless and was clearly not what Riot intended turrets to be.

We knew this months ago.
clearly not what Riot intended turrets to be.
Actually, this is exactly what rito wanted turrets to be currently. That's why the continuously have been nerfing them.
Big mistake, big punishment. Seems fair to me.
It has nothing to do with turrets being weak. The problem is that the death timers are too long.
Even I have to admit that it's high time that the inner-base towers start shredding armor/MR :|
I've always fancied that the Towers should be relative to how many enemy players are near or attacking it.
Here's an example: If there are 5 players each attacking the same tower, then the tower would gain a total of 5 beams to attack with. The beams would then whittle down all mobs, including players. The beams can also focus fire, allowing a maximum of 5 beams per target. The sensor range for the switch would be the same range as its own beam.
This of course would be limited to Mid Towers (3 beams) and Nexus Towers/Nexus (5 beams).
Two multi-people tower dives pre 10 min in OG vs G2. Doesn't matter if you play it well or not, towers do nothing.
Lost a game just a couple nights ago to the exact same thing. It really is a fun mechanic to sit there with 5 seconds left watching your last two towers disappear
