afk's in ranked

a shen (and for some reason in most of my ranked games shens do this) afk'd at level 9 and costed me my series. this is why i dont play this game and i am in bronze (also because of my skill level) riot can you implement a system in which if someone afks the other players are not affected. it really sucks that this is a fun game but the riot team seems like they cares more about creating lore and new champs and buffs and nerfs to champs, but not to the ranking system. i mean i get it doing that would be hard cause if you are losing a game just tell someone to afk and poof no lp lose but it just really is depressing that people whould do that. I just want to play ranked and try, really try to get better but with the amount of afk's, trolls, and other stuff its rough. i know climbing is hard but this shouldnt be this hard.

I feel for you, man. The issue isn't AFKers, it's promos. They need to go. Probably one of the worst concepts they've implemented. Everything you've done over the course of a month boiled down to 3 games?

It doesn't matter what advanced degrees you have, what leadership experience you have, how deep into philosophical thought you've been...no one thinks that is logical. And being illogical when it comes to ranking policy is both a dereliction of duty and a lack of ambition that borders on negligence.

In order for them to get banned, they must

Do something first
Get reported afterwords

They need to add something into the game that buffs the team when someone goes afk. A small buff. OR they should be able to play one more game in there series if someone afks. And if you happen to be the afker you automatically lose your series. And you lose half LP and the afker loses double the LP
