why go mid range when you should go long range my friend! you can be the cool kid on the block! playing Xerath , Ziggs or Velkoz makes you unique! Join the artillery mage squadron today!

Annie is as user-friendly as it gets.

Annie Ryze Tristana Sona

These guys are pretty solid. Not much finesse needed to get their kits to work.

Back in early 2014 when I started playing LoL, my gold friend who got me to download the game suggested I get Lux to learn mid and how to combo; and it really helped me! Annie works too. Hope it helps. [slayer-jinx-catface]

Gonna have to agree that annie is the most user friendly mage in the game, she's literally designed to be simple and they include her in the starter bundles so you know she's for new people (and experienced players too if that's their preference)

I'd argue ezreal can be considered one. His abilities allow you to make a bunch of mistakes (can safely dash away with your e if need be, or last hit minions from range with q) and he becomes obnoxiously powerful lategame. There's also only really one build you ever want to go on him, making him pretty simple to itemize.

Yorick walks into a bar. There is no counter.

You can't get more noob friendly than that.
