Make a better surrender feature

Seriously, I am tired of being stuck in games that are lost by "team mates" who insist on staying because they think they can suddenly reverse the tide of a game that is being lost of every front.

I should not be forced to stay in a game once I am ready to quit and the game mechanic creates such a situation. This infuriates me and makes me not want to play anymore, but I like most of the other aspects to much to quit.

Please come up with some sort of something so I don't have to stay in games that are lost just because 2 jerks out of 5 think they can still win it.

Actually we turned back an unwinnable game in high plat. (Almost did atleast but we fucked up when taking their nexus)

By 30 minutes in they had several dragons, we had next to no towers, we had mid and bot inhibs gone, and they had gotten baron twice. We pulled it back, made great plays, was able to properly take care of the unbelievably fed illaoi carry, and made a game winning play at the third baron to win the game (almost).

Point is no game is ever really lost untill you see the defeat screen.

On the opposite side of the coin there are guys like you that just think all hope is lost no matter what even when all it would take is one successful team fight to win the game.

I highly doubt Riot would want to encourage players to surrender, even if they are losing. It is actually more likely that they would go the other way with this situation and add features that would benefit you by continuing to fight from behind.

Shutdown gold is one example of this that exists already.

I personally always felt that it was a little odd that inhibitors spawn stronger minions for the winning team. I understand that this is intended as a way to allow that team to rotate and focus down other lanes and objectives, but they're supposedly already stronger than the other team. I think it would make more sense to give the losing team the stronger minions to keep them in the game, but I do understand that games could potentially go on for too long.

it's pretty much what you said: it's a mechanic to help the game close out quicker and prevent two hour games. It's also what prevents hypercarries from becoming super oppressive: as long as you can close out the game before they can attain their god state, you can win the game, but once a hypercarry gets the items they need your life is going to be pretty miserable, especially if you don't have a good means to counter them. The superminions also make it harder to simply waveclear to prevent the enemy team from ever touching your nexus towers until you catch back up, since they're a lot tougher than regular minions. Basically, they make the game harder, but not impossible, for the opposing team so that the game can close out in a reasonable time.

He understands that but if the majority(3 out of 5) want to surrender. Why should they be forced to endure 20-30 more minutes of trying(regardless of win or lose). When 2 people still have hope.

Majority should win.

If you have a negative outlook on your position to win then you are failing your team. even if you are losing you should never surrender or give up. didnt your parents teach you to shoot for the stars?

I have had several games where I wanted to quit and thought it was a lost cause but we ended up winning.

I also think that the majority of the players Should have to agree in order for you to surrender. it requires 4/5, or 3/4. so I would say it requires around 70%
