Is matchmaking trying to punish me or am I just crazy?

I just need to know if theres an actual reason for this or super frickin coincidence. Ive been playing 3v3 trying to get to G5 just for the ori chroma whatever. I'm going back and forth and thats fine. What's not fine is I literally just got queued up with the same duo three times in a row, the third time I dodged after being called garbage one too many times while both games I did pretty well for a jungler and the one trash talker fed the first game while the second game i did okay still and his partner fed and the same guy ignored that of course and blamed me. It's currently 6am here so maybe because theres a less amount of people playing but I dont that. Earlier in the day I ended up fighting the same trio twice in a row and lost horribly both times which in itself isnt an issue but why twice in a row the same people? I'm ranting a bit but I guess

tl;dr Matchmaking pairing up with/against the same people multiple times in a row frustrating.
