would it be possible to tweak akali's ultimate so it can target allied minions and wards as a means of a more reliable escape, any and all feedback will be greatly appreciated

NO NO NO NO NO.

Akali is already in the list of total BS champs with almost everything

she has sustained dmg with her AP ratio to her basic attacks, she has huge sustain from free spellvamp that gets quite large with her pretty much mandator gunblade, She has undodgable gap closer that can be SPAMMED not only for high dmg but making kiting virtually impossible, she has enough burst to instantly wipe someone, her W provides her with a means to get out already

you want to add that garbage to her you need to take away just as much if not more, like it no longer stacks 3 times, can have low CD but then add the counterplay that you can use dashes/knockbacks to actually stand a chance against her instead of, CC her and pray she is dead before its over
