Am I doing something wrong (obvi i am but like)

So I bought zoe cus she looked really fun and whatnot and she is but like I suck such balls with her its ridiculous Like legit look at my matches with her its sad I dont get what Im doing wrong tho??? Like??

I'll set up a R behind me, Q behind me, then recast Q to the enmy in front of me, but like it disappears befoe it hits them? AFTER ive recasted. Also her E doesn't make sense to me. I'll shoot it through a wall one time and it'll stop immediately once it hits the other side of the wall but other times it goes farther out into the lane? I dont know how to explain this really.

I see that her combo is op and shit and it is the ones ive succesfully landed do shit tons of dmg but then I have to wait like a nother 8 seconds to do damage again because there's nothing else in her kit that does damage.

So I need help on what to do then because I always get fucked then.

Also I need tips on how to play her well mechanically like I keep screwing up her combo somehow. I'll E literally right next to the enemy, and it'll open up yet they dont get stunned? When they're on it? Do they need to be directly in the middle of it or something?

I feel really demotivated bc I see everyone else is so good w her and callin her "ez" and "op" but I just dont get it I can't play her for the life of me. It doesn't make sense and idek what im doing wrong. Obviously im screwing up the combos but how? Like it looks like it reaches them but it doesn't? Is the hitbox just REALLY small or something?

Maybe Im just retarded and should uninstall but she looks really fun and I really want to get good with her but with everyone going 20/0 first time with her there's ombviously something Im missing.

So what you are doing wrong is that your farming is just no. Last hitting, wave management, trading, champion cooldowns and powerspikes you gotta work on those and you should be decent with most champs (look at riven games where i got decent farm for a new champ). You are also used to HIGH dmg snowballing champs from your op.gg which zoe can do but you gotta farm and get to midgame to do that. I want you to

  1. go to practice tool to practice combos learn dmg output and best items
  2. Farm. Farm. Farm until you get almost every cs note that when i farm with 7 cs perminute plus my winpercent goes waayyyyy up (teams can still be dumb). Look at my op.gg and look through the aram and fun modes for ranked see how that even with little cs my kda is very high and balancing kills with cs is critical. 3, The reason you lose with fizz is you either roam wayyy too much, cant farm in matchups or dont know wave manage ment.
  3. ward at 2:30 and 3:30 and stick to that side for the duration of ward unless a zac, twitch or shaco. Know when to back off when your jung isnt there or wont gank. IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHERE THEIR JUNGLER IS. DO NOT MAKE RISKY TRADES OR BLOW YOUR ESCAPE.
  4. Have fun. Dont focus on trivial things, mute everyone, and understand that failing is the first step to learning

Her E has weird interactions with some walls. Go into practice mode and you can literally stand at a wall, and move your mouse slightly, and watch the range indicator jump from across the lane to right next to the wall. This thread mentions this behavior with a short clip showing how dumb the range is sometimes.
