Not really, but the point of Nasus is he's supposed to be a lategame champion that scales well if you let him freefarm. He should be rewarded for getting that many stacks, shouldn't he?

1K+ is easy. Especially when the team knows how to play.

But he shouldnt be unfightable 1v1 for most top laners at 200-300 stacks after losing lane, should he? At that point you cant stay in lane anymore because you get zoned from a Nasus unless you get camped...

It's actually somewhat true if Nasus is good, yet it's Nasus entire identity and strength. (except the 'after losing lane' because if he lost lane, he should be underleveled and unable to fight until you let him farm 10-15 min and he recovered in items ) Nasus is kinda garbage at peeling/diving making him overall weak in teamfights unless he's more farmed than he should be and it's not lategame yet (people don't have the damage to melt him), in which case he destroys everything. And he's not the only one able to do that. Irelia is an excellent example of a champion that destroys everything midgame if she's the slightliest fed, amongst other champions.

But his strength is splitpushing. Basically. You remove that from him, he's nothing anymore.

And what about other duellists such as Jax/Trundle? Wouldn't they be strictly superior to Nasus in every aspect if Nasus didn't have a good midgame when decently farmed?

Well we all know rageblade is kinda stupid and Trundle is strong because tanky champs are nearly unstoppable.

But my problem with Nasus is that its so hard to "stop him from farming" even early on, its sad. Like his passive with some levels makes him pretty much impossible to bully or 1v1. You can get 1-3 kills on him, with 1 defensive item and some farm he still beats you (unless maybe you are Teemo or some other hard counter + you play well). His laning is just too safe against most champs imo.

This is kinda the problem of easy to play champions with good results unless you really counter them hardcore. They're gonna have good results unless you're in quite a high elo where people will do everything to shit on you and deny you waves, for instance with freezing the wave until there's a huge wave coming on Nasus tower (he's like : oh great so many minions to farm) and then you do a coordinated dive with your jungler and boom he loses the whole wave, he's 2 levels behind and has crappy stacks. If Nasus gets nerfed, he's gonna be super useless at high elo. Similar to Master Yi somehow. Both champions I love to play, but I admit are a bit selfish on both sides (you have to do sthg about them, yet they don't do a lot for their team, they're kinda playing their own game alone)

Yeah strategies like that should work well against Nasus early if you have the right champs for early dives, but in my elo I dont expect people to know how to use them, at least not everyone, so I just dont think about it lol. Idk about Yi tho since devourer gives pretty good stats with 0 stacks already now.

I want to see this match where you let a Nasus get 1K stacks and (therefore) get 334 minion kills with his Q (excluding bonus stacks from champions and large creatures).
