Jarvan IV mini-rework idea

Hello everyone. As a Jarvan IV main, I am really excited about what's going on in Demacia recently. Since this would be a perfect time time to give Jarvan IV the same treatment that Ezreal have last year, I would like to contribute my mini-rework idea which is a minor change to his kit, just like Ezreal's kit changes..

[W] Golden Aegis (New)

ACTIVE: Jarvan IV slows all nearby enemies for 2 seconds.

SLOW: 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35% => 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40%

Jarvan IV also shields himself for 4 seconds, this shield increased Jarvan IV armor and magic resist by 2% of Jarvan IV's maximum health, increased to 4% while Jarvan IV inside Cataclysm .

[R] Cataclysm COOLDOWN: 120 / 105 / 90 => 160 / 120 / 80

200 / 325 / 450 (+ 150% bonus AD) => 160 / 320 / 480 (+ 160% bonus AD) Upon impact, he creates a circle of impassable terrain for 3.5 => 4 seconds that grants sight around it. REMOVE : Jarvan IV can reactivate Cataclysm to destroy the circle.

I think most of Jarvan IV's kit are awesome and don't need any major changes. But as a Jarvan IV main I think his W could use some new mechanic. I know that this will make him more tanky and probably overpowered, so I deliberately make his R harder to use and nerf it in the mid game with some return in the late game. The idea was to make him more tanky while he inside his R, which will make his role as a tank more viable. Hopefully with suitable adjustments this idea will be considered.

Yeah Jarvan lack of tankiness but he is S tier dude. He has been S tier for like 2-3 months ? He clearly don't need a buff.

If you buff junglers like J4 or Nunu who are constantly ganking and diving instead of farming in jungle, Jungle is going to be horrible. It's already horrible but it's will be more horrible.

Jarvan is S tier in jungle dude. His kit is perfect for this stupid jungle meta because all you have to do with J4 is gank and take kills. You do red, then you gank mid...

Look at all the S tier jungler, all divers, all gankers... Udyr, Shyvana are useless in comparison.

I understand you want to make J4 tankier, because what the point of having this "Cataclysm" spell if you die in less than 3s ? But actually, J4 main problem is his dmg combined with his high mobility. He almost oneshoot you with a combo and you can't really escape him, since he has 2 dash (his E Q and ulti).

Your buff is : Up the slow.

No way ! This is the worst option to do ! J4 is godlike at ganking, you really want to increase the slow ? Ok increase the shield HP but not the slow. It's a pure buff to his ganking ability and it's will send him to S+ tier. I know it's your main, but this jungle meta is already toxic, so let's not turn J4 into a toxic champion.

I disagree with the ulti buff, because even if you nerf the CD and make it longer, you up the dmg. It's not like J4 ulti was dealing 0 dmg... It's a zone dmg spell combined with walls and with a jump.

And don't forget this flag ability to give him free assist. Honestly i don't think J4 need buffs. Not in this meta, not with these runes.

This jungle meta is centered around junglers who have high ganking potential and J4 is one of these junglers.

Also you must consider that this jungle meta is "all of nothing". If you lose early as jungler, you lose the game. If you win early, you roll on everyone.

If you want to buff J4, you need to change the meta first. I'm not rude, i'm telling you the truth. I love J4 too and even if i can't play him properly, i can't deny that he is enough fustrating to fight against when he plays good. Free assists with flag, big ganking abilities, zone dmg, bump and if he is feed, he is even tanky.

Tankiness actually don't exist, only if you are feed. The jarvans with 15/2 KDA are the ones who are tanky because they had enough gold to buy item 3748 item 3071 and the enemy team did not have many items. So they have many HP and they are unkillable.

The jarvans with 0/0/1 KDA (not really feeding but not leading the game) are the ones who are useless because they aren't tanky, they get killed in less than 2s in teamfight...

You see, it's a meta problem and because of this meta problem, we can't buff Jarvan. If you want him to get buffed, you will have to change jungle meta, you will have to upgrade tankiness...

For now, the priority must be to reduce this "ganking fiesta" meta. And that mean we need to pull of Nunu, Jarvan, Lee sin, Evelyn, Kha'zix, all S tiers junglers champ from their pedestal because it's destroying the game.
