Demoted from 3 matches, One 4v5

I made it to Gold this season and spent some time going from gold 5 to gold 4 and back. recently many of my matches have gone south seemingly regardless of how well i do. I would win 1 and lose 2 or three. the same thing happened to me in silver 5 for a time period, it seemed nothing to do with my skill but rather with the matchmaking giving me unlucky games. After a week or so this stopped and i easily climbed to where i had been at the top of silver than eventually to gold. What is frustrating me is that I had won a game so i had 15 lp. I played another, but we had an afk so after a close match we lost it 4v5. I played another and lost. that was yesterday. Today I played one game, lost, and was demoted to silver 1. It is very frustrating to be demoted a rank after losing only 2 fair matches. I hope riot will look into this so myself and others don't have to experience the same thing. thanks

So you lost the games that it took to get to 0 lp, then you lost 3 games at 0 lp.

In your last 19 games, you've won 6, and lost 13.

This demotion is fair.

well i only lost 2 games at zero LP, and the matchmaking during this period has been a little suspect impo.

Wrong. You're against a bunch of silvers. Matchmaking is fine. If anything, you have the advantage cause you're "gold"

but rather with the matchmaking giving me unlucky games.

With your play habits, you should be lower.

there is a reason riot added surrender at 15. sometimes an inhib is gone in another lane by that time and it it very hard to get back in the game even if you did super well in lane. all im saying is i have gotten streaks of games like that, where it doesnt seem like the matchmaking is perfect. this has occured in gold as well as silver even when i was definitely above the skill level of the majority of the players in the games.
