RIOT MUTE PING SOUND EVERYTHING WHEN MUTED

As a support main getting team up with salty players I hit the mute ASAP. But the ping sound is so annoying not muted I just turn off LOL sounds. Please do something bout this riot =[

extra* helping jg on blue our adc(was in the first bush in bot lane) got gank and died. adc blame me saying gg bot ff none stop ping.

There is a ping sound control in the sound tab. It is near the bottom
