Are they ever gonna revert the Blitz W change?

I havent really played him at all since the change. he just turned so bad if you miss the hook. Any other thinking this aswell?

I believe that the OP is referring to the old Blitzcrank change like... 2 years ago maybe? Where they increased the initial W speed, but it was a decaying MS speed which slowed you heavily when it ended. Before then it used to just be a flat MS speed.

Yeah, I remember that, but that was more than 2 years ago, and it's not dependent on landing the hook to be relevant. The AS boost requires him to be in melee range yes, and synergizes with the hook, but the MS boost is not reliant on the hook to be useful for you to get out of a bad situation. Plus, even the old version of W worked pretty much the same way, it just didn't have the self-slow, so I'm not sure what the OP is referring to.

Ye the W decaying thing. he really isnt the same at all. Before you could W in and miss hook. but if you do it now. you are dead 90% of the time

Ye but that isnt healty in this day and age. back then maybe ye. but the champs nowadays get so many new chances with other spells in their kits

Considering that hooking an adc can almost guarantee an entire team fight win, I disagree. Such a powerful opportunity deserves being demolished if you fail. No other champ in the game has that kind of pick potential, not even Zoe.

No, the change was added because Blitzcrank was too safe and had too many options to effectively hit his hooks and lock people down.

Additionally, you are not dead 90% of the time if you miss your hook. Blitzcrank still has his incredibly powerful passive mana barrier, and any Blitzcrank player should be smart enough not to go balls deep under turret or into a mess of danger just to land a hook.
