Stuck in bronze 4 - please help me

So I started playing around 4 weeks ago, I lost all but one of my placement games and ended up in bronze 2. My gameplay was reasonably bad - but I am a very fast learner and improved quickly. My friend who is significantly higher rank, and by watching many videos on YouTube and practicing most days I have become a player 100X better than before. I found that I quickly dropped down to bronze 4 after the placements but then have been stuck floating between the bottom of bronze 4 and the promotion series of bronze 3. Currently I have now been stuck in bronze 4 for the past week despite over 10 games a day. I am pulling higher creeps, more kills, and less deaths than the majority of my teammates - almost every game. I almost always receive an S- or above even when our team is abysmal. Can someone tell me how come I can't budge out of bronze 4? Almost every game someone on my team sucks, I think I have had a mere handful of games in which my team has 'carried' me. Thanks.

Your stats don't matter if you aren't converting them into objectives. Just get a little ahead and walk around and farm towers

Whenever possible I will push for towers, dragon or baron - but only when the time is correct.

This game will make you feel like that sometimes, but you will have to understand there is always much more to learn. Also, don't let toxic players get under your skin. Understand that if you are playing solo queue by yourself there is a chance you could be playing with or against groups of people, up to 5. All you can do really is just do what's best for your team to win, and stay positive in chat always because bronze games can quickly turn into chat rooms with 10 angry people if just one person starts being negative.

When I started playing ranked I lost all my provisionals and I was placed in bronze 4. After testing game after game, I found that even if I played really well, if I didn't pick the right champion and encourage my team to pick solid champions, we would lose. Bronze and Silver has a meta, unique from every other division, and the key to climbing is to figure out the meta. Step one is playing annoying champions, so you can tilt the other team, which is super easy in bronze. Step two is making sure your champion can win lane, but also doesn't fall off late game. Step three is making sure your team has a good team comp. Not as sophisticated as a poke or split push comp, something like strong team fight, or good late game. I recommend champions like fizz, malphite, jax, zed, blitzcrank, and Vayne. Assuming you have practiced each one. Have fun, and good luck climbing.

Most of the time, if your team is getting shit on, just let them get shit on. If you're ahead you can easily push your lane out entirely, and once that's done you could help other lanes get their towers.

Also, if you're ahead of the enemy you could win teamfights, which open up larger objectives like baron or inhibitors.

Most of league is a learning process, once you learn and become a lot better, you'll naturally climb out of bronze.

But not bad for starting a few weeks ago, I know players who have played for a long time and are still b5. You'll get it eventually dude, keep at it.

You are very toxic, probably bronze and the reason I lose the majority of my games...its 50% toxicity that is ruining all silver and bronze games and not lack of skill or teamwork

Meanwhile I opgged this kid and his average kill participation is below 50% often with few games rarely breaching 55%. This kid got as low as 12% as malph in kill particpation. Not to mention he struggles to get 100+ cs over 20 mins which is the MINIMUM lol.

I've been in bronze. I've even boosted my shit B5 friends before to silver or gold. So please stop. You legit act like Bronze is fking hard like nooo.

I also feel your comment is very generic - everyone says this on every single post I read. I WAS shit when I first started playing ... I play with higher rank friends and they all agree - I am way above the majority of legitimate bronze 4 players.

I don't give a fuck what anyone else says. If you can't climb that shits on you. Like I said, I could win every single game in bronze and silver because of how easy it is. I could 1v5 bronzies legit.

I just stated it's a smurf. Are you mentally challenged? G5 with a few G4 promos lost. I got a temp ban for raging everytime I go on a win streak. Legit kids in bronze and silver will at least listen to me when I shot call with my huge ass lead but fucking dumb useless pricks in gold won't even if they're 0/10. Dudes picking Tank Yasuo top and feeding, and when told to farm, they keep going in like "bro I can out play this". Like no my son you can't.

I think you would like to believe that - despite me and my friend carrying the majority of games it still often results in a loss from some less skilled players going 0 - 15.

Bro your making yourself look bad. Like legit it's only every 1-3 games you have a high kill participation, meaning you did damage and actually fucking helped with shit for those few games. While the rest, which is most of your ranked games is always below 50% or just 50%.

if you want to win in bronze its easiest when you play a snowballing champ (kat annie akali darius) and just get picks to push objectives or champs with a massive amount of crowd control (ammumu naut malphite Leona) and force teamfights with number advantages you are guaranteed to get in bronze just don't be scared to dive a turret when you have 200 armor and 3k hp

I'm having the same problem, except I'm stuck in Bronze II. Unfortunately, due to the new Draft system I have to pick two roles, and I always get picked for the role I'm worse at. I'm an ADC at heart but no matter what I do my other roles lack, and it always picks me for anything but Bot.
