Is Minions block getting worse for anyone else?

Before the preseason started, it seemed I could go several games (sometimes several days) without getting blocked by minions. Sure, they would slow me down sometimes, but they almost never stopped me from moving. Now, it is at least once a game I get blocked by minions.

One example is I was using Evelynn, and I try to gank top lane and kill the enemy Nasus (who had low health, but was trying to get in a couple more stacks), but he change directions at the last moments, and my minions followed him. Normally this would not be a problem, except my own minions had now surrounded me, and held me completely still, giving him time to Q me twice before I was finally able to move again (and before anyone says it, no he did not wither me). Yes it's a lot worse now. I have died multiple times because my champion feels like making a big circle around the minion wave to melee the minion standing next to him.

I agree and can confirm it, try playing a melee top lane and when minions stand together in a line, they'll form a wall, and your champ will go around them completley. Screwed up my cs couple times, and almost got me killed

I have noticed that too, really annoying. Particularly with bigger champions, such as a Cho'Gath with 6 stacks. He is a champion I've been playing a lot since season 3 and has become my main, so I have definitely noticed that something has changed. Sometimes the minions feel like Trundle's Pillar of Ice (E), like, it's totally impassable! But I feel like this problem came earlier than preseason, I can't really remember when it started though.

I mean, pillar of ice is probably minions, so they must be inheriting traits from their icy, summonable brethren.

Simple solution. Play Hecarim or Fizz or buy item 3046 or here's a thought, summoner 4 over the minions or summoner 12 to a minion in front.

But yeah, this has been Khazix ing me lately. Now when I'm playing Zed , I have to actually try in order to get CS. Heard that they would be fixing that in the next patch.

Yeah I've had a lot of problems with it. It isn't so much about the minion blocking as it is about the movement ai that_ should_ be telling the champion to go around the obstacle, not continually run into it and fail to go through.

Guess that's another reason for me to try playing Fizz top again.

As if the buffs to item 3124 and item 3025 weren't enough.

They probably just altered the hitboxes. I'd imagine it will be dealt with in the next patch or two.

Though, until then you can rest assured that Kassadin Fizz and Hecarim players will be laughing at you.

Yes! I just said the same thing in my last ARAM game as voli. Hit my q and went to chase and grab someone and instead got stuck in a wall of minions . The game before I was an adc that got trapped in a group of minions at the enemy nexus turrets. I thought I was stunned but then enemy had no stunner there. I wonder if Riot planned this to make PD really more attractive. If so, they need to give something similar to tanks because I can't freaking engage with minions around half the time.

its being kinda hard to be a bully support also, enemy wll cast a skill shot and you cant move cause snorlax is always beside/behind you

Riot Reinboon replied to a post on reddit (That i cannot find now) that they changed some things for the minions (angel hair to linguine). Its had the unintended effect of increasing minion block and it will be touched up next patch.

Horribly worse, I've started getting stuck inside minions at least one per game. At this point, it may really be necessary to remove collision unless there is a large rework to pathing and collision hit-boxes.

Actually one of the most annoying things ive noticed is that when im farming I get minion blocked so many fucking times. I try to get to that one low low health minion but noooooo, get blocked like 30 times. Even worse sometimes it seems like im getting blocked by something AFTER I leave the wave. Hopefully, thats just my imagination*[slayer-jinx-unamused]*

I have also been stuck on other objects this week. An ally Braum's big frame has caused me grief.. But my least favorite was teleporting to a tower and getting stuck to it for about 2 seconds like i fell through the space between terrain. I can play battlefield or any other EA game for that experience no thank you!

This has been a problem with me ever since the new map. I literally went from "What is to creep block?" to "OH FUCK FUCK FUCK, LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT!" (of course this is kind of exaggeration, but it still is extremely frustrating) within a few months of the update. I have never been surrounded by minions as much in my life until they updated the map and before it was extremely rare to ever be stuck to the point where you can't move. I have had more games than I can count where my friend and I go to run and the minion wave decides to do some stupid pathing and then surround me and my friends is like the fuck did you go to watch me get gang banged in a cage of our own minions. Of course we laugh it off, but in ranked play (which I have pretty much stopped doing) it can literally screw over games and not even be your fault (hello teleporting minion glitch).

More seriously, I've felt like champs should be able to push them out of our way. Especially someone like max stacks Cho (who, honestly, should probably have an Alistar-like trample or something).

I just started playing Mundo, and noticed that he would end up doing these stupid long walk arounds to auto a minion. Thought maybe it was just me and a new champ, but seems that positioning even with ranged will sometimes make you do a stupid walk around.

I play hecarim too, and I occasionally find hecarim repathing around minions when I am trying to cs, despite being able to walk right through them. It's hella weird and stupid.

Yeah, its almost denied me a couple of kills while chasing down lanes.

Last season, it was hardly noticeable, now if you run into a creep wave, you WILL be buffeted around into

Evelynn's Q has range 500 and prioritizes enemy champions but Nasus used Q twice on you? "low health" target not that low... not saying creep block didn't keep you from running away
