A single Ahri change

I'm an Ahri OTP, and I thought a change that can give Ahri more survival. Imagine this situation: Ahri versus Anivia. Ahri can't kill Anivia cause of her passive is active, so Ahri needs to stay safe until jungler's gank. Then, enemy Lee Sin decides try to gank Ahri. Lee hits Ahri with Q and then Anivia uses her R and her wall. Ahri has to use R for keep herself alive, but the problem is when she uses R once, she has two more dashes which she won't use because she's safe, and she has to wait 110s (having 0% CDR) for use again those 3 dashes again. My idea is change R, turning it into like Rumble's E or Akali's R. With this change, Ahri has to wait for only one dash instead of full CD (Being unchanged if she uses all dashes in a row). The mana cost for every dash can be 33 (being 99 combining all dashes, from 100 that there's atm), or 35 (being 105 with all dashes) (I don't really care about mana cost, you can increase or reduce it at your will). R can have 3 stacks max (like the number of dashes that she has when she uses her R now). And plz, don't give her a stack if she kills someone, that would be broken; and I can't dodge games too many times. I'm not a forum guy, so I'll post my twitter if you need to tell me your opinion about it (use DM plz). Thanks for read it. Arknor :D Ahri

I believe you mean to recommend putting her ultimate on an ammo system.

I like Ahri a lot too, she's fun and has a unique playstyle. However I don't think it's a good idea to put her ultimate on an ammo system.

This likely would be too powerful / unfair for opponents. Part of the point of the 3-cast ultimate is that it is a window of clear power for Ahri, one that she can use to have high moments and stronger pressure, and one that her opponents can play around by trying to force her to use defensively, or by not fighting her until it is on cooldown.

This window of power is very important for counterplay and removing it would likely break the champion.
