What do you do to learn a new champion?

This is mainly a thread to find out what is the best or most popular way to learn a champion. I typically play 1 or 2 Int. bots with the champion before moving into normals. I've heard some people say they practice in ranked of all things and some say they spam bots until they're extremely comfortable with the mechanics.

Play normals, the bots have an absolutely trash AI and will never reflect real game circumstances.

I play like one game of bots then play normals. If I really dont understand the champ maybe another bot game. But id always play with a friend when trying something new.
