Seperating the mindsets of players with a grouping system

I feel the queue system should be into three groups, which can be changed at any time from the client.

One group that allows the "Professional" players to play with others that wish to play that way too.

  • Balance and fairness oriented updates
  • Working with teammates that work for the same goal
  • More wins and less toxicity due to disagreements over them "playing for fun"

The second group being the opposite. for players that just play for fun.

  • Having silly updates and game-modes
  • Less harsh environment and motivates creativity with play-styles and builds
  • A lot less arguing and more fun playing non-meta strategies

And lastly the third group being a little bit of both. (kinda how I feel the current community is update wise, trying to keep it fun with game-modes but balanced with nerfs and buffs)

  • A lot like the current standard of the server
  • Working for balance but not trying to take away the sillyness of league (R.I.P Ap Yi)
  • Generalized updates

I feel allowing the players to separate will remove a lot of toxicity while also justifying a lot more reports, allowing players to get along a lot easier and more wondering if the person you just played with is going to add you instead of report you :) This is my suggestion to fixing toxicity and promoting teamwork. (I apologize for my English :) )

Please leave any suggestions/questions to idea below!

Do you mean you would choose which queue to get in?

Seems like it's begging for trolls to screw with "professionals" while "just for fun" or "friendly matches" lobbies in other games tend to be magnets for smurfs and higher level players who want easy wins.

It's just an idea for the current situation with toxicity. :) A lot more reports would be justified for moving players into other queues. Possible temp-banning or perm-banning from the "silly" queue and "professional" queue but the main always being up (so they can still play with friends if they get banned from the others) Do you have any suggestions to help improve the idea?

Trying to maintain 3 separate version of LoL (each with their own balance concerns) just isn't reasonable.

In addition, that would make it HORRIBLE for people who want to get more serious at this game. Imagine going from the "fun" queue to the "serious" queue only to find that the balance is totally different and your favorite Champion has a different kit.

Edit: Besides, Ranked is already supposed to be the super-serious tryhard mode, and look how well that goes over.

You make a very solid point my friend. Thinking of a solution to it is harder then I thought.. Just tired of people yelling at each-other you know? just want people to get along more :) well... the dream..
