Bots are becoming a bigger and bigger issue by the night. Seems like 75% of all ARAM players after midnight are bots. Its really ruining the game guys....... Im not sure what you guys can do about it but ya'll really need to figure it out. Just got in a game with 4 non-players on my team. Things are starting to become unplayable. Posting in Gameplay and Balance because not sure where else to post.

Ugghh. This really deserves a Riot response. Pretty amazing it does not have one already. I can't imagine a company with a similarly successful game (i.e. Blizzard) leaving its community in the dark about such a serious problem with its game.

MotherChurch3 votesSeriously. Bots are a real problem and Riot needs to do something ASAP. I brought four of my friends over from HoN to play LoL with me. While they like they game, we have all been dismayed by the number of bots and Riot's inability to do anything about it.
Dominion: Full off Bots. I have had games where I was the only human player on either side.
ARAM: Full of bots. Almost guaranteed at least one or two in a game
Summoner's Rift: Starting to see bots here in Blind Pick. This really sucks b/c the games are long and it is supposed to be competitive. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE FOR NEW PLAYERS WHEN THE MAIN GAME MODE IS FULL OF BOTS.
Frankly, I hope they do something soon. I will not be spending any more money on the game until this issue is addressed.

The big issue here is this is going on and Riots worried about a revamp of the forums that no one asked for nor wants. They're doing all kinds of shit thats accomplishing zero actual fixes. Like moving the servers somewhere else on the West Coast. The West Coast servers arent hardly having issues. Meanwhile East Coast have an average ping of 150. Its like Riot has exactly zero concern about its community whatsoever. Which would be a hell of a lot less infuriating if the whole idea of LoL wasnt supposed to be about actually listening to their community. Its been about listening to the community on one or two thing (specifically new skins) and ignoring them when they talk about actual issues.

Web design =/= game engineering, so just because they are doing forum stuff doesnt mean stuff about bots is not being looked into, I hate that logic.
That being said. I'm level 30, hundreds of aram games and I've yet to see a bot. sorry they are ruining your games though :(

That's right, at least 3 bots and I'm pretty sure the "new Ava" kid is a bot as well. That made me the only real player in the game. Naming convention, massing in mid lane, turret diving, not using abilities, etc... Their needs to be a new kind of vote for this. If a player gets more than 10 in a week or something the account is banned and any referral rewards are stripped.

I could list another 5 games in a row worth of bots. They get kills on rare occasion..... on other bots. But mostly its 1/15, 1/19, 2/16, 0/18 etc. And their names are always name_name or ending in a double u. Theres alot of them and they fack everything up

This may also be why riot doesn't think they are a huge problem. Bot MMR must drop fast enough that most of the population really doesn't ever see them. The people sitting at their low MMR probably see them all the damn time though.

Ambient Snow2 votesHonestly, even after 12am you start to see bots in the Ranked games as well. I know i've seen a few ADC bots and one or two TOP bots they seem to pick specific characters. Such as Ashe and or Lissandra from the ones i've seen.
Usually in Champ select as soon as they enter they call a specified location then thats all you hear from them for the entire game.
Usually as described. they will just auto farm their lane to the tower. moment their attacked they back away to their tower then auto attack back up to the enemy. they don't use any of their abilities.
and in most cases if monitored they will stay silent till you threaten to suddenly report them then usually the bot will DC then re connect and suddenly the user will start talking acting like nothing was different.

At one point they were isolated in custom games and not bothering anybody other than riot (who could have come out with a better solution), instead they took ip/exp out of custom games. This forced botters to move into regular games.

NoMonku1 votesI haven't run into bots in ARAM or at least I believe I haven't, and I almost only play ARAM. It sucks that this is going on though. You can also try posting in Maps & Modes because I think bots are a problem in a lot of areas because of IP farming and stuff.
PrinceHumprdink1 votesSo I was hoping that Riot would have weighed in on this by now...and, in fact, I filed a customer support ticket after having bots in 10 consecutive TTL games.
Here is what I know at this point:
--The BOTs are real...especially in 3v3s; --The presence of any BOTs ruins the experience for all involved; --And, for TTL, BOTs are present in at least 60% of the games.
The one thing I dont know is why Riot has remained largely quiet on this issue. Why? This is a customer service issue and, as a customer, I would like to know that the problem has been acknowledged, a solution is being worked on, and, if possible, an eta on a solution. I ask this because, at this point, playing 3 v 3 is simply not enjoyable any more.

NoMonku1 votesI feel the main reason they haven't addressed the issue is that they don't have a solution. I'm pretty sure they are working on it... or at least I am hoping they are. Even if they, say, address the problem, if they haven't been able to come up with a solution, how will telling us be beneficial. To me all it would say is "hey people, here's something you can do and we can't actually stop you" so it's probably not in their best interest to address until they actually feel they have a solution.

On as lightly different note, would someone mind explaining to me why someone would pay a potentially considerable amount of money for an account that undoubtedly has had numerous reports filed against it? Are there not any consequences for the intentionally feeding, AFK, or assisting enemy team reports? I don't know a whole lot about Rito's justice system, but I can't believe botters don't out themselves on Riot's radar in some way. Or that anyone with half a brain would purchase an account that was tainted by bad player feedback.
NoMonku1 votesSome people are either lazy or possibly don't have the time to level up an account. I feel if you don't have the time, you probably shouldn't play in the first place, but for the lazy people its easier then them just playing and doing the work themselves. From the prices I've heard its basically 1 day at work to buy an account, depending on how much IP is on it, so the trade offs of time vs. level is obviously better. Also I have a feeling that the people who are buying the accounts either have no real knowledge of these facts and/or know them but will risk it anyways because it requires them to do less work.
