My problem with LP, MMR and ranked

I don't do this often so forgive me if it's sloppy, I would also like to say I'm not one of those "Deserve challenger" dudes, I think until I find my footing this season I am where I'm supposed to be.

ANYWAY, LP gains and losses right now are atrocious, honestly the same goes for the MEME relation. I was Plat IV and after a string of bad teammates (and an odd game where I was the problem) I ended up in GOLD III. I gain 15LP per win and 20 on a loss, makes sense right? Well totally. My problem is that this game and my elo is absolutely riddled with trolls, egotistical carries and downright stubborn players with the sole intent of ruining a game if things don't go their way. Renekton got no ganks so he said "I won't fight this whole game", afk'ed a lane and shocker, we lost. Premade duo in champ select threatened to int the game because I refused to give up my ADC role, would have been another loss right there. Ironically enough, in most if not all of these games my lane wins and sometimes another will too, it quite literally takes one person to become fed up and troll to ruin the entire experience.

I don't come home from work to a game i once loved just to deal with that crap.

Dissidia Final fantasy NT recently came out and the ranked has a cool system, when you win you gain however much but if you happened to lose although you played considerably well you lose little to nothing and sometimes, you don't lose any points at all.

Imagine if league was able to identify solo performance and base LP gains and losses off of that instead of a system where having a few bad games or more often then Not, a few bad teammates setting you on a losing streak can literally ruin your LP gain for days on end.

Incase anyone actually reads this and hits me with the "Get good enough to carry 1v9" argument, don't. I use that myself but unfortunately you cannot win a game when someone is intentionally feeding the enemy free gold, that's the joy of most of my games.

TLDR - LP gain based on performance. Good players in a won game will win a ton of LP, bad players in a won game will gain a minimal amount. Lose LP based on how well you played, good players in a lost game will lose a small amount, bad players in a lost game will lose a lot. This will reward the good and the bad properly.

Good luck coming up with a better way of measuring performance than win/lose.

Riot's closest attempt is the mastery grades, and I'm pretty sure people recongise that encourages kda players and tons of afk farming, which isn't necessarily indicative of a good player at league of legends (theres a reason 'kda player' has negative connotations, particularly at the highest tiers of play).

Riot's had at least three different sets of ranking measurements, changing them out every few years; I doubt they even know, lol.
