How do I protect tower from enemy (ADC)

So, I main support. I want to know, if the enemy adc and I are the only ones still in bot lane, how do I stop the adc from damaging the tower with a wave pushing to my tower.

I play Leona Support.

Wave clear the minions if you can first. Use your W (your defensive buff) it will help clear.

If they are close to tower you can also use your E if you are not low and they are not really strong. It will root them and it they attack you they may drop into tower aggro range.

Save your stun to escape or stun them after they draw tower aggro.

It really does depend on levels though. If you are both low levels you can probably trade without taking too much damage. First though, just simply wave clear with W, but have you E ready if they auto you within tower aggro range.

If they make a serious mistake stun them under tower and drop ultimate. In general, the ADC should respect a Leona under tower.

Sometimes you can also just walk up to them and stun them while they auto the tower. Just harassing them a little draws their attention and damage off the tower.

Edit: It is really important that you thin out the minion wave before touching the ADC. If the tower is below half health and the ADC can kill it fast and they are strong (early mid to mid game) give up the tower.

Waveclear is about the only thing you can do. Some supports are better at it than others. Ping for your jungler or midlaner to come down sometimes works, if they are not busy elsewhere. ADC's cant push waves if they are dead.

Janna can sheild the turret from damage, use your q to knock back the wave and/or adc and use your slow in the adc if it is really bad a good placed ult from Janna can knock away the adc and the creep wave but you used ult for a turret. sometimes the best thing to do is not defend it, because if they are gonna get it anyways dont die defending it. a lost turret isnt a lost game but a lost turret and a death is alot of gold and a huge win for the enemy adc who is getting further ahead

as Leona if you used your W and auto the wave out infront of the turret when your shield blows up it will provide some aoe damage to wave and it will make it easier for you to last hit. as far as the adc is concern you can always go agro on them a bit. dont fully go ham but you can use q to stun them for a moment and then maybe E them make them realize they may have to take damage to take your turret. and if you have summoner 3 you can use it to slow their dps on a turret and sometimes that alone will make them back or if you have summoner 14 you can full combo them and they will take a huge chunk of damage and think twice.
