New-ish player looking for Champion suggestions

Looking for a champion that can counter Darius and can also play top, mid, and jungle. I already play Kayle, so someone other than her.

The pool of champions that commonly go top that also commonly go mid and jungle is already scarce enough. Trying to find one that counters a specific champion is going to probably get you some "can technically go mid/jungle but doesn't usually do so" responses.

Maybe Gragas?

He is one of the only champs that I can think of that has, at least at some point or another, been played nontroll in all 3 of those spots that could possibly also harass Darius. Darius would still murder him if he isn't extremely careful though.

Yeah Gragas could work. Though I'm not keen on his delayed explosion barrel mechanics tbh...

Yes, I was considering Diana, on paper it looks like a good matchup for her, but I've read she's not actually that good v Darius.

Could you give reasons why you think she would work please?

Well Diana is one of my mains, And when you asked for a champ who could Top, Mid, and Jng she was the first one that came to mind. :P She's one of the most balanced champs in the game at the moment and can be built as an Assassin or AP brawler! She has few hard counters in the meta, and she's fun to play too! :D

As for Vs. Darius , She's by no means a hard counter, but she can harass and trade with him pretty well! Pre 6 you can harass and farm with your Q, and counter his grab with your awesome W! That said, He is much tankier then you! Don't try to out brawl him straight up or his passive will shred you! When I fight Dar as Luna, I try to force him out of lane pre 6 rather then strait up kill him! (This IS assuming he's not playing like a potato of coarse! :P ) After six it's all about knowing when to all in! Don't dive him unless you know you'll kill him before he can dunk you! Also try not to over extend early, your very immobile w/o your ult and easily killed by the jungle if you get caught in a pincer!

As long as I'm here, Nidalee fits your bill as well! Her kit is versatile as all heck! and she trolls Darius in lane! Just DON'T GET GRABBED!!!; and you'll be fine! :D

I would suggest Fizz or Malzahar .

Malz jungle requires some finagling, i've heard, so I can understand that downside.

But he deals percent (max?) health damage, has killer mana sustain, a silence, and a suppression. He has a ridiculous 1v1 and his ability to shut down a single target (like Darius) from range means all that melee damage won't mean shxt.

Yes, I tried Fizz, but I'm not much cop with assasins. The whole squishy + having to get in melee range doesn't really work for me. Plus I imagine he would get smashed by Darius...

the thing to remember about Fizz is that he is a textbook burst assassin. He can dive in and out of the fight with minimal damage to himself if you use him properly. If you look at how the pros use Fizz, you'll see what i mean.
