so, i saw this concept a long time ago, when youre behind build tankier a trinity force is a must rush on hecarim, however, somebody this said hec started to feed. over and over again. and kept building trin force. disclaimer #1 hec should not be top. the next thing, had hecarim built tankier and farmed under tower, he wouldve had less deaths, more cs, and possibly been relevant later on. so, ive done this with some bruiser champions in the past, and its a working concept. so, if you cant out-play a zed- out build him. his damage is mostly burst, so get some health on your adc. your damage output will for sure go down, but sometimes you have to make a trade. that said- im not an adc main, i just understand how building to counter works. maybe trading off a damage item for a frozen mallet is just too bad of an idea and causes you to be useless in team fights. it might be something you want to try out in norms before actually doing it.
