This is absurd they now only give you 4 rune pages for 138 different champions, The should be giving us more than what we had to begin with in my opinion as they have added so many different options you can take with each champion also depending what lane you're managing and what kind of team comp your enemy is choosing. THEY SHOULD BE GIVING US MORE, THEY ADDED MORE VARIATION!!!! Really seems like Riot is taking the stingy side to this update.

Its incredibly dumb to give you less than 40 seconds to completely change rune specs for each and every champion to better suit their playstyles. I would rather plan that ahead of queue so that I have more time in the queue to plan for other things that will also realise the outcome of the match.

They can be manipulated in champ select, one might be enough...

One is plenty. It takes no more than like 20-30 seconds to edit a complete page. People like this just want to be drama queens and shout that the world is crumbling aroumd them at the slightest change

You can edit the new Rune pages during champ select.

Yeah, it's INCREDIBLY stupid. And all the people saying it's editable in champ select, you don't know what champ you're playing until it gets to you, so that's as little as ten seconds to do something that takes minutes to do.

I already made myself 6 and I got another 7 to come.

Just buy more runepages if you need more.... Wait with that until they got the 2 for 1 bundles though.

Um.... You do realize that since many champs are played the same just make one rune setup for all your adcs and so on. Also if u wanna play a champ in a different role just pick that rune. I have one rune for adc, one for mage, one for tank, one for sustained ( marksmen and such ), and one for mage. So when i pick a champ i pick the rune that matches whether he is tank, ad, or ap. Easy.

I realise some people only play the one champ, and ragequit if they don't get to play it, but others like to switch it up. To you guys saying 1 page is the greatest wealth ever known and more than you could ever dream, consider this: The prebuilt sets don't allow you to change anything. Since there are 5 players and 5 roles there are 5 rune trees to choose from, hence 5 prebuilt sets. If you want to have some fun with your build, fine tune it for your champ or playstyle, to counter enemies or just try something out, you have 4 pages. There are 20 permutations of primary/secondary runes. Only 4 pages. One more and you could at least have an alternate setup for each type primary rune set. But no. 4? Weird. There were 30ish pages available for masteries. I guess 4 is technically a compromise between the previous amount of starting rune pages (2 or 3) and mastery pages (a lot more), but so, so technically. Thankfully what the new runes actually do is slowly settling in, so it's getting easier to successfully change them before a game.
