What is the best support-adc combination

I've been using adc for most of my time in league but now Im trying out support champs. I want to know some good combinations for a team and a good one-two-punch.

Ashe Janna Massive CC, good peel and initiation. It can be very hard to engage upon or escape from this combination, especially if they have a lead.

Kalista Thresh Easily escapes ganks, good initiation and disengage, Thresh is ranged so that he can easily proc your W passive and he's tanky enough to enjoy being thrown into the enemy team.

Varus Zyra Massive poke in lane, extremely powerful ultimates (especially when one is follow-up).

Draven Get locked down for any length of time? Draven just murdered you horribly. Nautilus can easily transition between peel and initiation.

Lucian Braum Lucian can very easily proc Braum's stun with his passive, Braum can protect Lucian during his Culling, they can very easily turn from passive to aggressive.

MissFortune So. Much. Damage. You have a massive amount of in-lane harass and AoE ultimates; if you get good ultimates off, you basically win a teamfight. In addition, Rylai's on Brand is really good for keeping people in the MF ultimate.

MissFortune Blitzcrank Do you stand behind minions to get his by Double Up or do you stand away from them and get pulled? Good luck.

also Alistar Kalista can be pretty scary because she can throw ali in and he can pulverize / headbutt you back into turret but i dont play ali bc he's boring

As a nami main, i love the Nami corki combo. Nami's CC with corki's burst is insta death for all who dare get bubbled.

Thresh because his hook is way more satisfying to hit, in terms of actual better kit, Thresh is better for teamfights as he can save allies or bring them in for advantages as well as having massive slow, flays can prevent adc's escaping and his hook + lantern behind

recast on hook means a dead enemy.

I would have to say thresh. Blitz is more of an offensive support, his whole kit (barring his ulti) is around making one person's life miserable. Thresh brings some defensive abilities to the table, along with the ability to pick.

I'm surprised no know has mentioned Leona + Corki ... due to corki Gatling gun he can proc every one of Leo's passive (which has no CD) procing it all 4 of her abilities a passive getting an extra 80-560 extra damage.

Also no one has mentioned Soraka combinations with heavy hitters adcs like Lucian MissFortune Draven and demolish all early game.

My favorite is Blitzcrank + Jinx Pull to Granades there is no other way but to fight back since you aren't runing away from that

Most OP endgame with ridiculous damage and way too hard to kill: Vayne Janna

Super fast burst combo of death: Graves Leona

Just poke them out of lane: Caitlyn Sona

Just need one q: Lucian Braum

There are other good ones but most of the rest are just sort of kind of good at a lot of things and nothing really stands out about them as really OP to me. Like if you used the OP right now MF and Brand I'm sure it'd be quite strong, but that's just because those two are OP right now.

Ashe Janna historically this lane has always been good, can poke, engage, disengage, kite all day, + Ashe's scouting, very hard to catch that lane off guard Ashe Zyra popularized by c9, still super good Ezreal Sona godlike in S2, still strong AF MissFortune Sona very, very high winrate atm, great synergy all together Vayne Nami lots of CC to aggro/defend, sustain, Nami's E works super well with silver bolts Annie Jinx the. burst. is. real. Corki Leona a classic, still strong, Corki procs all Sunlight marks very quickly Draven Morgana get snared for 3 hours, eat a bunch of axes, try to retaliate, can't CC Draven, flip table Thresh Kalista you pull me, I'll pull youuuuuuuuu Lucian Braum Lucian gets Braum's stun faster than any ADC due to his passive Caitlyn Janna and we poke all night in the best lane eveerrrrr...

Typically poke adc with poke support is good, and burst adc with hard engage is good. Look for specific synergies (such as MF+Sona ult, Braum+Lucian stuns) as well as champions who cover each others' weaknesses (Ashe has no escape, Janna has godly peel).
