If i got placed gold 5 , 0 lp if i lose another game now i will go down to silver ? i still need one win for that poro icon and i want to risk a game at least to get it, but i dont want to lose the skin if im gonna lose the game. So im asking will i go down or not ?
Oleandervine1 votesI would recommend stopping now in whatever queue this is and swapping to another ranked queue like Twisted Treeline or Flex (or Solo Duo if this is in Flex) for that other win. That way, you won't drop out of gold in this queue.
To elaborate, there are 3 different ranked queues, and you they don't affect the rank of each other. So you could be Silver in Twisted Treeline, Platinum in Flex, and bronze in Solo/Duo. If you are in Gold in this one, to get your gold rewards simply swap to one of the other two queues to prevent demoting.
Lauchmelder1 votesIf you already lost a few games on 0LP I would be careful (apparently there will be an exclamation mark next to your rank on your profile if you're at risk of demoting). If you just got to 0LP you theoretically should still have a small buffer to work with.

whether or not u get demoated after reaching zero is based on your mmr.
if your mmr is much higher than your rank u wont get demoted,, but if your mmr is lower than your rank.. u will.
however there is no way to see your mmr and i wouldn't risk it
