Sup people, I'm an adc main trying to make the switch to mid lane. Any and all tips would be helpful. I'm Plat 5 atm for solo que and I've decided to swap over to mid. Atm I've been spamming malz and vik alot but I want to start playing cass, kat, and possibly oriana. Im pretty good at the game mechanicly but idk much about mid. Any information on the lane itself or what champs would be good to spam would be useful. I've been told I should focus on 2-3 champs but idk who so yeah thanks in advance for the tips and information. Have a great day all sorry for the long text.

Anivia Get good with the bird. Win games. Go 5/0 before lane phase ends. Make barons and dragons impossible for the enemy team.

Be the bird.

Don't play Cassiopeia Midlane. Play her toplane.

TIps:

Waveclear is important. Clear waves and roam.

My tips are pretty self-explanitory. ward the two bushes on either side of your lane. since your pretty decent at CSing that won't be an issue. When you push your wave to enemy tower, look for roaming options. Always have an option to escape since most of the time enemy jung will find a way to kill you if you stay at tower when you push your wave. I picked up Lissandra and I've had a lot good games with her. She's easy to farm with and really tanky. Counter jung your enemy jung if you need to to stay up in CS. But other than that it's a really easy lane to learn. [slayer-jinx-catface]

I guess I would say harass your laner when you can and always keep an eye on your mana bar. Be careful of ganks from the jungle lanes and always be ready to roam bot if your opponent goes missing. If they back, shove the wave into tower and try to roam yourself if you can see an opportunity top or bot. On first back, try to buy a control ward and toss it somewhere in bot side river to give your bot lane an early warning system. (yes, I say focus bot because easiest lane to screw over with all the jungle and tower changes).

I'm a dirty, dirty Ahri main so roaming is super easy. Pretty much just think of it like a solo lane for the most part that plays like an extra bot laner. Keep an eye on the minimap and force objectives when you can. Good champions to play mid, I would say are her, Lux for some self peel and probably yasuo who has a free shield and windwall so is a much safe pick against mages.
