Tibbers unable to attack Nexus.

So basically we had a team where 2 of the enemy went afk and we could free push to end it as quickly as we could, and so I went to their nexus and summoned Tibbers. And then … well.. nothing. He didn't attack it whatsoever. commanding him on the nexus didn't do it either so basically it seems like Tibbers is unable to attack the Nexus? Did anyone manage to attack the nexus with him so far? Is this intended, and if so for what reason?

Any experience about this sort of interaction would interest me. [slayer-jinx-catface]

he dont. im pretty sure daisy doesnt either. not sure the specifics as to why though.

iirc though the only pet that can hack at a nexus is the maiden of the mist (yorick)

Used to be an Annie main and yeah he won't attack the Nexus. Even before the MYMU where Tibbers got some beefed up AI afaik he never did. Herald and ghosts can obviously but things like Tibbers, heimer turrets etc won't. Unsure what the coding is on this.

"Only targeted by champions"? I think Bard Ult doesn't effect it either even though it works on Baron and towers.

I think its champion exlusive but if thats the case I hop that mordes ult also cant attack the nexus because if it can then tibbers should be able to aswell

It's most likely intended, or it's because the nexus is somehow coded differently from inhibs and turrets. Haven't played in a while but at some point he wasn't able to attack inhibs unless you used the secondary command input for him. Alt Rclick instead of R i think.
