Kalista W Rework Idea

Let me start out by saying this is my first post and that I have no experience doing this so I'm fully aware of balance problems in my suggestions (I also have no idea which board to post this on), so please limit replies to constructive criticism and keep it solely centered around the concept and not numbers. Any new suggestions that any of you might have are also welcome.

I've been playing Kalista Kalista a lot recently and I love the champion. I think despite her win rate she's very fun to play and very powerful if played right. So I am in no way calling her underpowered and I am not asking for a buff. However I find myself never using her W. The passive part of it is decent, but I have 2 problems with the patrolling ghosts:

The first problem is that the ghosts only perform 3 laps, which provides roughly 15-20 seconds of vision, on a 30 second CD. Not to mention the ghost reveals only a very small area in front of it so the chances of spotting the enemy jungler is next to nothing. Not only that, but the ghost gets killed in 2 attacks, so the jungler could just kill it before it spots him. Combine this with the fact it costs 20 mana per ghost, having to constantly send ghosts to patrol the river drains mana and is almost never worth it, and as a result, I don't even bother to use the ability. This effectively puts me at a disadvantage as I only have 3 abilities as opposed to 4.

The second problem is that Kalista is a champion centered around the idea of trust, betrayal, and revenge. Her passive, Q, and E all do a good job of showcasing her as an agile-javelin warrior, and her blackspear/ult is an amazing way to implement the "trust" part of her theme, but I have a hard time grasping how patrolling ghosts adds to her theme in any way? In my opinion, her W should be something that better interacts with her oath sworn instead of just a random ability that grants vision, which leads me to my suggestion.

What if we make her W a purely passive ability. The first part would be the same as the current W passive, which deals 5% max health damage if Kalista and oath sworn attack the same target, on a cooldown. The second part would be something along the lines of "Kalista swears revenge on the enemy champion that last killed her or the oath sworn, dealing 30% extra damage to that target and gaining 10% of their AD if she kills them." That way Kalista's play style will remain the same, but her W would become not only a useful ability in her kit, but also fit better with her theme.

TLDR; I don't think Kalista's W is very useful in its current form, nor does it suit her theme, so I suggest that her W marks the last enemy that kills either her or her oath sworn so that she deals extra damage to them and takes some of their AD on kill.
