Questions about Sona

Hello. I'm pretty new to these forums, as well as the actual game. I would like to ask a few questions about Sona, who is my main champion. I would like to know these things.

Is Sona viable in the current meta?
I play Sona in mid lane a lot, using a hybrid build. Is Sona mid viable? Is it viable in ranked as well?
Coming off-topic, but should I consider a different main champion as I get closer to ranked?
Regarding my hybrid build, it currently consists of Trinity Force, Boots of Swiftness + Enchantment: Alacrity, Lich Bane, Hextech Gunblade, Guinsoo's Rageblade, and The Bloodthirster. Should I change anything?

DJ Sona is the best. Her in-game music seems to improve my gameplay... I tried this with a friend who had DJ Sona while I was playing ADC.

Playing with DJ Sona on average improved my gameplay. DrMundo ME LIKEY
