Promo Games & Ranked

This is another "ranked should be based on individual performance" thread. I just got done with a promo game and got destroyed because our top laner whined the whole time and decided to open up top which lead us to a surrender at 15 minutes. I can't control what other people do, and down here at my elo, its either stomp or be stomped. Honestly how hard would it be to evaluate your personal performance against the rest of the players and have a ladder of points gained, or points earned? for the supports, just throw a different calculator on it to determine how well he did. OOORRRRR I would even be happy if during promos if someone trolls and is reported, recap the game and if someone actually trolled, take the loss back and let us play that game again.

  1. Yes it is "based of individual performance" to a certain extent, basically (your lane). 2 No name shaming, and remove (That players name) from this post or else it's going to get deleted and become irrelevant, and yes I know you may be tilted but just move on. (Early rankings so idk what you suspected)
  2. You can control what (YOU) do and can control the outcome of the game single handedly if you have that certain skill level.

name removed. It seems like you are trying to play the "if you deserve a better rank, then you would have a better rank" argument. But down in bronze, either you have the completely dominating team or you have the monkeys that just flame and feed. Not to mention the decreased placements have me playing against people who are from different ranks playing in my games. That doesn't benefit me or my team at all. Sure it could be a learning opportunity but why have that in ranked? I don't get to learn anything if all of my lanes feed and flame.

Just got a done with a game where the support had internet issues who was already supporting a urgot bot... which is better than the yasuo bot he was planning at first, but still...

  1. Trying to say (individual performance) is based on you, and how you run the game.
  2. Yes I agree I've been down there before, but it's a place where no one knows nothing (has no clue what they're doing or up to) So it should be easy to snowball and carry on.
  3. It's early rankings (if you didn't know that) so everything won't be very organized or balanced out.
  4. "I don't get to learn anything if all of my lanes feed and flame." You learn not to be like them, and intake their information they say towards you, and you can improve upon that information towards yourself. :)))
