There are over 120 champions now and I was curious if I could get an answer from a red on this. There are definitely more than 3 champions I would like to ban a game and I think that the 3 ban per team system is getting a bit outdated since there are more and more champions every season. So, any thoughts from riot on 8 bans per game?

Zileas, as you add champions, you must have more bans, right? We don't really agree with this -- we feel the minimum bans are related to the number of S tier champions, which can come from new releases, but honestly, is something we are getting better at managing with time. It's very conceivable we could have 50% more champions but have half the S tier champions.

They could if they wanted to, start it out on the PBE or even in a game mode to see how it worked, they could make it even go to 5 bans per team.
My IGN Sucks1 votesThe issue is that Riot wants certain champions in the spotlight so there really aren't that many viable options in each role. It would certainly promote diversity which they SAY they want, but we all really know that isn't the case.
TwoD1 votesWhat about 5 bans, the box can literally fit 2 more champions, and the game requires 5 players to participate. IT MAKES SENSE!
