ARSR

Honestly, I've been wanting something AR on Summoner's Rift for a really long time now. I understand people complain about ARAM all the time or don't consider it a real game because for some reason most people don't think there's any strategy in it. In actuality this makes you learn whatever champion you end up playing better and it introduces you to different kinds of gameplay and combinations that work without outside influences such as baron, dragon, or fed champions from other lanes ganking you. Ultimately this makes better overall players who can learn more and faster than those who sit in 5v5 on the same champ in the same meta every game. Having ARSR lets you bring that to the map with the greatest capability for tactical strategy as opposed to champion strategy and team cohesion, meaning literally that ARSR requires more strategy than ARAM or normal SR. Yeah, people are complaining because you could get a champ that doesn't fit well in the position you called or the whole team might not have a support or jungler, and yet that's the whole point. Learn how to play more champs well and how to strategize on the fly with what you have, that's part of the challenge and honestly where I've found most of my fun in League.

I seriously hope Riot keeps this mode around as a normal thing while still cycling through the other extra modes, especially as they've said it doesn't require a whole lot to keep it running and updated. Maybe some ways to improve it would be to not have people call lanes until after their champion is exposed or something since that seems to be one of the larger complaints I've seen.

I totally agree. I am loving the hell out of this game mode. I'd love it if it was made permanent.

If there was a different themed map that would be cool; idk the SR map is played so much it just kinda gets bland. When I was thinking about the map on ARSR maybe they could bring the winter map back or make a whole new one, Im not really sure.

I'm not sure how it is on your end, but in my community, players quickly get demoralised when they start dying on an unfamiliar champ. Unlike ARAM, SR is a harsh environment; people get punished really hard for mistakes. And once things start snowballing, it isn't really an educational experience so much as a crappy one.

I'm not saying that the mode should be removed; I don't have anything against it, but I just feel like ARAM provides a better experience.

that still doesnt mean that you will play better. lets say most of your team gets champs they have never used while most of the enemy team gets champs they are very good with. so what do you think would happen? getting champions that you never used doesnt mean its a good thing. barons, dragon, and fed champions still come into play. this mode is still utter garbage. wow we dont get to pick who we want but there is nothing different. if this were a permanent game mode under the aram tab sure i would be fine with it. but as its a RTGM its garbage

I Have an unnaturally large champ pool so I always manage to get something i enjoy playing, but i can imagine this mode being lackluster and lame and even frustrating for most people who usually main like 3 champs
