I honestly can't stand the direction that 6.9 took the game.
The Rift Herald buff alone has me scratching my head, wondering, what on earth you are thinking.
This patch was not even a tweak.... the game feels and plays completely different.
I'll end with the question:

FiddlesOnTheRoof2 votesBeen playing since season 2. For me, this entire season has been disastrous. The game has lost fun at virtually every turn. New champions are lame. (Tahliyah does virtually no damage, and can't even be played as support. And her combo is the single most difficult combo to land in the game) Tahm Kench is toxicity incarnate. Bard is lame. Ekko is so broken he makes season 2 Kassadin look like the epitome of balance. Tank assassins can do the same damage as full assassins. This entire season.... the fun has been sucked out of the game. I find myself on OVerwatch more than league now- by a lot of hours. League has lost what made it special. Global buff timers, mandatory early game objectives, flashy champion kits. Everything they've done this season has been to increase the number of "LCS Big Plays". I'm tired of everything in this game being changed and balanced around Esports. Some of us jsut want our game back.

As a S2 player, do you remember Singed or Shaco or Eve? Ekko is more broken than S2 Kassadin? When he reaches 99% ban rate, maybe. Until then, not nearly as much. Tank assassins can kill a squishy if that squishy is alone, and even then they take way longer.
I loved S3 of LoL but I don't go around saying it was so much more balanced while remembering top lane for 6 months was "who can survive against Renekton?"
FiddlesOnTheRoof1 votesNo Taliyah is lame because she does no damage, can't be played support, offers little utility, has an easy to dodge combo. She's utter shit. She does nothing well, and everything bad. And yes I remember those champions, of course. But their kits were able to be nerfed. Albeit, eve was nerfed into the ground. But TK's ability to pull anyone on his team out of danger, on as short a cd as it's on, is absurd.
